Baby up to 2 years old
Timing
Schedule the best time for your baby, working your appointment around naps and mealtime. It’s best if you don’t try to fit your baby into our schedule. If possible, schedule an appointment around your baby’s routine.
What to wear
Age-appropriate clothes. Special outfits are good options, but make sure they fit. Choose clothes that your baby is comfortable wearing.
What to bring
Diapers, a pacifier, a change of clothes, a favorite blanket or toy, a cloth/towel for drool or spit-ups, a brush/comb, and snacks (consider bringing a bib to protect your baby’s clothes before your session).
What to expect
Be prepared for your photographer to ask you to jump into a portrait with your baby. We’re concerned about the safety of your baby, so we’ll need you to supervise your child at all times.
Tip
You’ll always cherish portraits of these early years. Capture your baby’s important stages—first tooth, first steps, first birthday, etc. We recommend portraits at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. Then you can create keepsakes that combine a portrait from each milestone to document the dramatic transformation during the first year of your baby’s life.
